Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Food and Beverage Manager to oversee our food and beverage operations in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of culinary trends, a strong background in managing dining and bar services, and a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the food and beverage department within budgetary constraints.
  • Develop creative menus that reflect current trends and seasonal offerings.
  • Supervise staff recruitment, training, and performance assessments.
  • Set and maintain high standards for service and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with local health departments and regulations.
  • Engage with guests to enhance their overall dining experience.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies.
  • Prepare financial reports and analyses of department performance.
  • Implement systems to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on service standards and product knowledge.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or Management
  • Masters in Hospitality Management is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years in food and beverage management, demonstrating progression in roles
