Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing specialized care to premature infants and critically ill newborns, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular assessments and evaluations of neonatal patients.
• Work closely with the medical team to adapt care strategies.
• Support families emotionally and provide guidance regarding infant health.
• Engage in training to remain updated with the latest in neonatal care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care.
• Supervise junior nursing staff and nursing students as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
• Specialization in Critical Care Nursing

Experience

• 3+ years' experience in a neonatal intensive care unit preferred.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Attention to Detail

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Research Experience: Involvement in research and evidence-based practice in neonatal care.
• Leadership Experience: Previous experience in supervisory or leadership roles within nursing.
