Job Description

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing production processes, improving efficiencies, and implementing innovative engineering solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements that enhance product quality while minimizing waste.

Responsibilities

  • Assess existing manufacturing processes for effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance quality assurance and control.
  • Implement cost-reduction strategies while maintaining product integrity.
  • Collaborate with design engineers during product development phases.
  • Benchmark industry best practices and incorporate innovative technologies.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgetary proposals for new projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Additional certifications in Lean or Six Sigma preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
