Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Internal Auditor to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in auditing practices and an ability to provide insight into the effectiveness of our operations. As an Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for assessing compliance with financial regulations and ensuring that internal controls are effective.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk assessments to identify areas of potential exposure.
• Evaluate business processes and internal controls for improvement opportunities.
• Draft policies and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Facilitate training sessions on audit practices and compliance.
• Ensure timely completion of audits per established schedules.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of audit trails.
• Report on audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Assist in special projects as required by management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree will be considered an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in auditing role, preferably within financial services
