Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Animal Care Associates. You will be responsible for performing surgeries, diagnosing illnesses, and providing treatment plans for pets. A strong focus on client communication and education is essential to help pet owners make the best decisions for their animals' health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations of animals.
• Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed.
• Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures with skill and care.
• Advise pet owners on preventive care and wellness plans.
• Coordinate with external specialists for advanced medical cases.
• Engage in client outreach and follow-up communications.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to team development.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for both staff and patients.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Certification in Veterinary Surgery preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in veterinary practice
