IT Support Technician

Join our dynamic team as an IT Support Technician in Port Elizabeth. You'll assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, manage IT resources, and offer exceptional service to our staff. Responsibilities

• Resolve technical problems via remote desktop and on-site support.
• Assist with the integration of new technologies into existing systems.
• Conduct routine audits of systems and software.
• Engage with vendors to resolve technical issues when necessary.
• Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
• Participate in IT projects aimed at improving service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in technical support roles

• Linux OS
• VoIP Systems

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• ITIL Foundations Certification: Understanding of IT service management best practices.
