Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings.
• Implement care plans with a focus on quality and safety.
• Assist in advanced procedures under the supervision of doctors.
• Maintain professional nursing knowledge through continuous education.
• Participate in community health promotion and education activities.
• Lead efforts to improve patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with case managers for holistic patient care.
• Participate in emergency response protocols as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing
• BSc in Nursing preferred

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in nursing practice

• Medication Administration
• Patient Education

Certifications

• Infection Control Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Fluency in both languages enhances patient communication.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR): Experience using EHR systems for patient documentation.
