Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our growing team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with physical difficulties, providing tailored rehabilitation programs to enhance recovery and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed assessments of patients’ movement and function.
• Create and implement tailored physiotherapy programs.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to relieve pain and restore movement.
• Advise patients on lifestyle changes to promote health and wellness.
• Document and maintain treatment records and progress notes.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary care plans.
• Supervise physiotherapy assistants and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or related field
• HPCSA Registration required

Experience

• At least 3 years of clinical experience preferred

• Therapeutic Exercise

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with paediatric physiotherapy: Familiarity with treating children and developmental disorders.
• Certification in dry needling: Certified in dry needling techniques to aid in muscle recovery.
