As a Veterinarian at our Cape Town clinic, you will be responsible for diagnosing ailments, administering vaccines, and performing surgeries. Responsibilities

• Utilize diagnostic tools to assess pet health.
• Perform dental cleanings and extractions as needed.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures.
• Provide emergency care for injured animals.
• Guide and mentor junior veterinary staff.
• Engage in community outreach to promote animal welfare.
• Contribute to clinic operations and client service enhancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a practice setting

Technical Skills

• Diagnostic Imaging
• Pharmacology

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Registered with the South African Veterinary Council
• Animal Behavior Certification (optional)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
