We are on the lookout for a dedicated Quality Assurance Tester to join our innovative team in Pretoria. As a key member, you will be responsible for testing our software solutions to ensure they meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and clients to identify any issues and recommend improvements before the software goes live. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test scenarios and scripts.
• Work alongside developers to rectify software defects efficiently.
• Validate that the software solutions meet the desired quality standards.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint meetings and retrospectives.
• Provide continuous feedback on quality processes and suggest enhancements.
• Ensure effective communication of testing results to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in QA testing and familiar with Agile methodologies

Technical Skills

• SQL
• Selenium

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CSTE)
• Agile Testing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of API testing: Experience with tools like Postman or SoapUI.
