Job Description

As a Paper Goods Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating envelope folding machines to produce high-quality envelopes efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operation and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program envelope folding machines for varied envelope designs.
• Conduct quality control checks on produced envelopes to meet company standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to minimize production delays.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss production targets and improvements.
• Implement best practices in machinery setup and operation for efficiency.
• Document and report any safety hazards to management promptly.
• Train and mentor junior operators on best machine practices.
• Assist in forecasting production needs based on customer orders.
• Provide feedback on tools and processes to improve productivity.
• Participate in continuous improvement teams to enhance production workflows.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training or relevant qualifications are an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of envelope printing and finishing processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Languages
