Environmental Engineer

We're seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our Pretoria office. This role involves designing and implementing projects that contribute to environmental sustainability, from assessing environmental impacts to developing compliance strategies for projects. The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of engineering principles and environmental regulations, and a commitment to creating solutions that help protect our planet.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental management plans for major projects.
• Perform site assessments and monitor environmental conditions during project execution.
• Advise clients on best practices in sustainable engineering and environmental compliance.
• Engage in public consultations and stakeholder meetings to discuss environmental concerns.
• Conduct research on new technologies and practices to enhance project sustainability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., EAP) is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in related technical roles within environmental projects
