Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Civil Engineer to enhance our team in Bloemfontein. In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise to design, implement, and maintain civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for liaising with clients and stakeholders, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering designs and specifications for various infrastructure projects.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate engineering solutions.
• Supervise construction activities and provide technical guidance to teams.
• Ensure safety and environmental regulations are adhered to during project execution.
• Prepare and present progress reports to project management.
• Monitor project performance and implement improvements as necessary.
• Facilitate training for junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in civil engineering project management

Technical Skills

• Geotechnical Engineering

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
