• Evaluate pet health and develop treatment protocols.
• Perform complex surgical procedures safely and skillfully.
• Handle laboratory analyses and test results effectively.
• Implement vaccination and prevention programmes.
• Advocate for animal welfare and quality of care.
• Assist in managing clinic operations and workflow.
• Participate in professional development and continuing education.

Requirements

Education

• DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine)
• Postgraduate qualification in veterinary surgery is a plus

Experience

• At least 5 years in a clinical setting

Certifications

• Completed practical training at a recognized veterinary clinic

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
