SOC Analyst

Job Description

We're on the lookout for an experienced SOC Analyst to help us protect our digital assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring network activity, investigating alerts, and collaborating with team members to strengthen our cybersecurity framework. Successful candidates will have strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to detecting and mitigating threats.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve detection capabilities in the SOC.
• Create regular reports on security performance metrics.
• Evaluate existing infrastructures for security weaknesses.
• Engage in continuous system monitoring for security events.
• Develop security strategies to enhance organizational security posture.
• Lead collaborative efforts for security solutions with third parties.
• Participate in drill exercises to prepare for potential incidents.
• Maintain awareness of emerging security technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or Information Security
• Master's degree would be beneficial.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles

• Vulnerability Assessment Tools
• Intrusion Detection Systems

Certifications

• Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with scripting languages: Scripting in languages like Python for automation and response tasks.
