Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Product Designer to join our vibrant team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for aesthetics and a passion for enhancing user experience through innovative design. You will be involved in all stages of product design from brainstorming ideas to creating prototypes and user testing. This role requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills to deliver engaging user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Translate user needs into engaging product design solutions.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to product strategy.
  • Document design processes and maintain organized design assets.
  • Evaluate competitor products for inspiration and benchmarking.
  • Create detailed mockups for user interface components.
  • Assist in the testing and validation of designs with real users.
  • Support the development team during the implementation phase.
  • Help to advocate for the user throughout the development process.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Interaction Design, or a related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in product design

  • InVision

Certifications
  • UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group
  • Interaction Design Foundation Membership
Languages
