Security Engineer

Job Description

As a Security Engineer at CyberSafe Solutions, you will be pivotal in fortifying our clients' digital environments. You’ll analyze security requirements, implement security measures, and respond to breaches while collaborating with IT teams to ensure compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and remediate vulnerabilities in the IT infrastructure.
• Keep up to date with the latest cybersecurity tools and technologies.
• Advise on security measures for new technology implementations.
• Lead security incident response efforts and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary.
• Collaborate with internal teams to protect sensitive information assets.
• Develop risk assessments and manage risk reporting processes.
• Create security metrics and measure the effectiveness of security programs.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for security practices.
• Drive security awareness training for all employees.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Certification in Information Security or Risk Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in information security roles
