Job Description

As an Authorization Coordinator, you will play a critical role in our healthcare team, overseeing the authorization process for patient treatments. This position requires a keen attention to detail, superb communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire authorization cycle, from submission to resolution.
  • Engage with external parties to expedite authorization processes.
  • Educate clients on authorization requirements and procedures.
  • Document all interactions and maintain a detailed log of authorizations.
  • Work closely with insurance representatives to clarify policy details.
  • Monitor the performance of authorization requests and optimize workflows.
  • Enhance the client experience through effective communication and support.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant certificate or diploma in healthcare administration is advantageous
Experience
  • Experience with authorization processing is advantageous

Languages
