UX Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a creative UX Designer to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating user-friendly interfaces and enhancing the user experience across our digital platforms. Your design ideas and concepts will play a pivotal role in improving our product usability. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate user needs into effective design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead user-centered design processes from concept to prototype.
• Engage in user testing sessions to gather feedback for improvements.
• Develop user persona and journey maps to improve user experience.
• Create visually appealing and functional design mockups.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams for project updates.
• Optimize user interface design for responsiveness and accessibility.
• Document design specifications for development handoff.
• Conduct design critique sessions to improve team outputs.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas.
• Apply feedback from UX testing to iterate on designs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in UX/UI Design or similar fields
• Relevant certifications in UX design are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a UX/UI design role
