Potline Monitor

Job Description

The Potline Monitor is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of potlines in an aluminum smelting plant. You will ensure smooth processes, troubleshoot equipment issues, and maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monitoring of the production process to ensure optimal performance.
• Evaluate and adjust processes based on real-time data.
• Effectively communicate with team members and management regarding performance and issues.
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment by coordinating with the maintenance team.
• Mentor less experienced staff to cultivate a skilled workforce.
• Drive adherence to health and safety regulations in all operational aspects.
• Participate in strategy meetings to align production techniques with company goals.
• Report on production performance and propose strategies for improvement.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of training materials.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in aluminum production or similar industrial settings

Technical Skills

• SCADA Systems

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
