Job Description

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead our operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in supply chain management, demonstrating expertise in optimizing processes, coordinating logistics, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and streamline supply chain processes to optimize resource use.
• Collaborate with logistics and distribution teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks proactively.
• Enhance supplier relationship management to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor market trends to adjust supply chain strategies accordingly.
• Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the supply chain team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Management, or relevant field
• Master's in Business Administration (MBA) is beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain processes, preferably in logistics
