Job Description

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing and buying commodities essential for our operations. This role involves negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring our quality standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of effective procurement processes.
• Foster strong working relationships with suppliers for better collaboration.
• Conduct thorough market analysis to inform sourcing decisions.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on supply chain objectives.
• Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards in all purchased commodities.
• Manage risk in the supply chain and develop contingency plans where necessary.
• Advocate for sustainable procurement practices in sourcing decisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in related fields is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a focus on commodity management

Technical Skills
