We are searching for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our innovative team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and components, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless project execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical schematics for projects.
• Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to integrate systems.
• Review and analyze electrical design submissions from contractors.
• Quality assurance of electrical installations and compliance assessments.
• Assist in project budgeting and resource allocation for electrical needs.
• Develop testing procedures and parameters to validate design efficacy.
• Attend design review meetings to provide technical expertise.
• Contribute to innovative design solutions that are cost-effective and resource-efficient.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional certifications in project management or design are an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
