Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical devices and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our engineering projects meet high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret engineering data to inform project decisions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source components.
• Assist with compliance to safety and regulatory standards.
• Present findings and project updates to stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
• Contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant engineering role

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
