Civil Engineer

Job Description

Join us at Construction Solutions Ltd. as a Civil Engineer. You’ll lead various projects from inception through to completion, managing budgets and collaborating with architects and contractors. Your technical expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of projects, ultimately enhancing public infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate proposals, plans, and technical aspects of engineering projects.
• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide solutions.
• Ensure sustainability practices are integrated into building designs.
• Analyze data using engineering software and modelling tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide development opportunities.
• Coordinate presentation of reports and project updates to management.
• Manage changes on projects effectively and efficiently.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure effective communication at all levels.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred
• Professional registration with ECSA is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of civil engineering experience

Technical Skills

• Soil Mechanics
• Surveying

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with BIM technology: Proficient in Building Information Modeling for project collaboration.
• Knowledge of sustainable practices in construction: Experience integrating sustainability into civil projects.
