Dental Hygienist

Job Description

We're looking for a passionate Dental Hygienist to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for performing thorough oral cleanings, educating patients about oral hygiene, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular dental cleanings and deep cleanings as required.
• Educate patients about the importance of dental care and disease prevention.
• Assist the dentist in various procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Take X-rays and ensure they are appropriately processed.
• Conduct initial patient screenings and document medical histories.
• Keep accurate patient records and maintain confidentiality.
• Develop treatment plans and follow up on patient progress.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to practice improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene

Experience

• 3+ years of experience preferred
