We are seeking a highly skilled Aurist to join our team. As an Aurist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating hearing disorders and providing customized solutions to patients. Your expertise will directly impact the lives of individuals facing hearing challenges.

Responsibilities

• Perform various audiological tests to assess hearing functionality.
• Tailor treatment approaches based on individual patient needs.
• Educate patients on hearing loss prevention and management.
• Work closely with manufacturers for hearing aid fittings.
• Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes meticulously.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Assist with administrative tasks when necessary to support the team.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Audiology preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in audiology or related field preferred

Technical Skills

• Teleaudiology
• Patient Management Software

Soft Skills

Certifications

• HPCSA Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in Xhosa: Ability to communicate effectively in Xhosa to assist diverse patient backgrounds.
• Certification in tinnitus management: Specialized knowledge in managing tinnitus for better patient outcomes.
