Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement strategies, sourcing quality suppliers, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions. You will play a vital role in maintaining supplier relationships and streamlining procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the procurement of goods and services for the organization.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and conduct bid analysis.
• Ensure that procurement practices are aligned with organizational goals.
• Work closely with internal departments to ascertain their procurement needs.
• Participate in supplier evaluations and audits.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement best practices.
• Train and mentor junior procurement staff.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a procurement role
