Responsibilities include conducting health assessments, diagnosing ailments, and administering treatment for various animal species.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine animal health assessments and examinations.
  • Diagnose animal illnesses and formulate treatment plans.
  • Administer vaccinations and preventive health care.
  • Perform surgical procedures and dental work as required.
  • Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
  • Consult with pet owners regarding animal care and treatment options.
  • Assist in managing clinical staff and mentoring veterinary technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary medical standards and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Support clinic marketing and community outreach initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • BVSc or equivalent veterinary degree
  • Specialization in Veterinary Surgery is a plus
