Job Description

In this role, you’ll play an essential part in evaluating and implementing public health programs. Your work will focus on assessing community health needs, coordinating health promotion campaigns, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to improve health outcomes in Durban.

Responsibilities

  • Assess public health needs and develop strategic plans for interventions.
  • Facilitate focus groups and community engagements to gather input on health priorities.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to interpret health data trends.
  • Support the development of funding proposals for health programs.
  • Evaluate the impact of health initiatives and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Foster partnerships with government and non-profit organizations for health initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Public Health or a related discipline
  • Experience in health promotion or community service is a plus.
