We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team in Johannesburg. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for bathing, trimming, and styling pets to ensure their comfort and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Groom pets according to breed standards and owner preferences.
• Build rapport with pets to ensure a positive grooming experience.
• Stay updated with grooming trends and techniques.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and managing customer inquiries.
• Report any health issues or concerns to the owner.
• Foster a team environment by assisting colleagues as required.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Grooming school certification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a grooming environment

Technical Skills

• Grooming techniques
• First aid for pets

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal skills
• Time management

Certifications

• Animal First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to handle nervous pets: Experience in calming and handling pets that may be anxious during grooming.
