We are seeking a dedicated Pet Groomer to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in grooming various breeds and a genuine love for animals. Your main responsibilities will include bathing, cutting, and styling pets to ensure they look and feel their best.

Responsibilities

• Perform full grooming services including haircutting and nail trimming.
• Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners.
• Assist in scheduling appointments and managing the online booking system.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in grooming practices.
• Help in training junior groomers and trainees.
• Stay updated on the latest grooming trends and techniques.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma
• Diploma in Animal Care or Grooming preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in grooming

Technical Skills

• Pet First Aid
• Grooming tools expertise

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal Skills
• Time Management

Certifications

• Pet CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Skill in creative grooming: Ability to perform creative grooming styles for special occasions.
