Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator in Cape Town to enhance our supply chain effectiveness. This position requires strong organizational skills to manage logistics operations, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics operations and enforce protocols for efficient handling of products.
• Analyze logistics data to improve operations and cut costs.
• Lead logistics team meetings to assess progress and resolve issues.
• Track delivery schedules and monitor transport performance.
• Liaise with warehouse personnel to maintain accurate shipments.
• Create detailed logistics reports for upper management.
• Implement new logistics technologies to enhance operations.
• Oversee compliance with legal and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and manage logistics budgets to ensure cost efficiency.
• Collaborate on special logistics projects as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the logistics field
