Actuarial Auditor

Job Description

As an Actuarial Auditor in our Durban office, you will conduct thorough assessments of insurance policies and financial practices. You will provide recommendations based on your findings to improve our risk management processes. If you are passionate about data analysis and ensuring compliance, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits of actuarial valuations and pricing models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on improving processes.
• Conduct risk evaluations of financial products and services.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior actuaries.
• Develop and implement audit plans and methodologies.
• Ensure timely reporting of audit results to senior management.
• Prepare documentation to support internal and external review processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in actuarial auditing or related field

Certifications

• Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA)
