A Leading Insurance Company is looking for an experienced Insurance Underwriter to provide risk assessment and policy management. Your role will involve evaluating clients' insurance needs, documenting the underwriting process, and fostering good relationships with insurance brokers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments of insurance applications.
• Make informed decisions on policy coverage.
• Engage with clients to explain underwriting decisions.
• Monitor and mitigate risks associated with insurance policies.
• Collect and analyze data on claims to improve underwriting accuracy.
• Prepare financial reports based on underwriting data.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Assess and refine underwriting guidelines as necessary.
• Understand the impact of underwriting on the overall business.
• Represent the underwriter function in meetings with management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a relevant field

Experience

• 5+ years of comprehensive experience in insurance underwriting

Certifications

• Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS)
