We are seeking a proactive Lobbyist with a strong understanding of governmental processes to influence public policy. The successful candidate will engage with stakeholders, conduct research, and advocate for our organization's interests.
Responsibilities
Lead outreach efforts to government agencies and other stakeholders.
Conduct impact assessments of policy changes on the organization.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions on advocacy strategies.
Collaborate with communications teams to develop messaging for advocacy campaigns.
Maintain a database of contacts and key stakeholders in government.
Engage in coalition building with other organizations on shared priorities.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of lobbying activities.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, or related field
Master's degree in Public Policy is a plus
Experience
5+ years of experience in public affairs or related roles
