Lobbyist

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Lobbyist with a strong understanding of governmental processes to influence public policy. The successful candidate will engage with stakeholders, conduct research, and advocate for our organization's interests.

Responsibilities

• Lead outreach efforts to government agencies and other stakeholders.
• Conduct impact assessments of policy changes on the organization.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on advocacy strategies.
• Collaborate with communications teams to develop messaging for advocacy campaigns.
• Maintain a database of contacts and key stakeholders in government.
• Engage in coalition building with other organizations on shared priorities.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of lobbying activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, or related field
• Master's degree in Public Policy is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in public affairs or related roles

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Regulatory Affairs: Familiarity with regulatory processes and compliance issues.
