Seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join us in Johannesburg. You'll take the lead on structural design and project management, ensuring that all designs comply with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development for various types of projects.
• Utilize CAD and simulation software effectively.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to designs.
• Identify potential risks and challenges during project execution.
• Provide innovative solutions to structural issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's preferred

Experience

• 5-7 years of relevant structural engineering experience

Technical Skills

• ETABS
• Civil 3D

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Interpersonal skills

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Certified Structural Engineer (CSE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Hands-on experience with site management: Direct involvement in managing site activities and teams.
• Proficiency in BIM technology: Experience in Building Information Modeling for project planning.
