Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Penetration Tester to join our cybersecurity team in Cape Town. As a Penetration Tester, you will conduct tests to identify vulnerabilities within client systems, applications, and networks. You will utilize a range of penetration testing tools and methodologies to simulate attacks and assess security measures, ensuring vulnerabilities are addressed efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor security incidents and report anomalies.
• Perform forensic analysis in the event of a data breach.
• Collaborate on security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Assist in the development of incident response plans.
• Keep current with the latest cyber threats and security technologies.
• Develop scripts for automated analysis and incident response.
• Engage in continuous training and professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or equivalent.

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in SOC environments
