Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in environmental assessments, compliance, and sustainability projects, contributing to our goal of reducing environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Prepare environmental assessments and reports in compliance with national standards.
• Work with clients to develop tailored sustainability plans.
• Engage with community stakeholders to promote environmental awareness.
• Evaluate environmental programs and recommend improvements.
• Assist in project planning and execution regarding environmental aspects.
• Enhance internal processes to reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
• Collaborate with engineers and planners on site development projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Postgraduate degree in Environmental Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental project management

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
• Certified Sustainability Professional (CSP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
