Job Description

As a Pharmacist in our Johannesburg branch, you will be responsible for managing the pharmacy's operations, providing medication therapy management, and offering patient consultations to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage patient medication therapies for chronic diseases.
  • Implement best practices in medication dispensing and storage.
  • Coordinate with medical teams on patient drug therapy plans.
  • Provide recommendations for alternate therapies based on individual needs.
  • Develop educational materials and conduct workshops for community health.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance in operations.
  • Maintain detailed records of prescriptions and patient interactions.
  • Participate in inventory management and cost-control measures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy or related field is advantageous.
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in retail pharmacy.
