As a Veterinary Surgeon at Local Veterinary Clinic in Cape Town, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues. Responsibilities

• Create and implement treatment plans for various conditions.
• Manage records of all pet treatments and care.
• Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners.
• Lead surgical procedures when necessary.
• Support the breeding and reproduction processes of specific breeds.
• Assist in the training of junior veterinarians and staff.
• Develop relationships with clients for ongoing pet care.
• Advocate for animal welfare and ethical practice.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Postgraduate qualification in Veterinary Medicine is an advantage

Experience

• 5 years of hands-on veterinary experience with a focus on surgery.
