Job Description

Seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join our Johannesburg practice. In this role, you will assess and treat animals, maintain accurate medical records, and develop treatment plans to improve the health and quality of life for our patients. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat injuries and illnesses in animals.
  • Perform surgeries and other medical procedures.
  • Develop and implement animal health care plans.
  • Work with a range of species, including domestic pets and wildlife.
  • Provide compassionate care and address owner concerns.
  • Mentor junior veterinary staff and interns.
  • Engage in research and contribute to veterinary publications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
  • Specialization in Animal Surgery is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years in a similar role within a veterinary clinic
