Job Description

In your role as an Underwriter, you'll review applications and determine the acceptability of risks, while assisting our clients in crafting tailored insurance solutions. This is a pivotal role that directly impacts our portfolio and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate emerging risks in the insurance landscape.
• Advise clients on risk management strategies.
• Work closely with actuaries to refine pricing and policy terms.
• Assist in developing new products based on market demand.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders when necessary.
• Support cross-departmental initiatives to improve underwriting processes.
• Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Adjust policy wording based on risk levels and client feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as Business Administration or Risk Management

Experience

• 3-6 years of experience in insurance underwriting
