SEO Specialist

Job Description

We are on the hunt for an SEO Specialist based in Cape Town to drive our clients' online visibility. You will be responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies that will boost organic traffic and improve search rankings. Your expertise in keyword research, content optimization, and performance tracking will be critical to our success.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-page and off-page SEO strategy development.
• Analyze and report on SEO performance metrics monthly.
• Identify gaps in content and recommend improvements for SEO.
• Engage in technical SEO audits and implement necessary changes.
• Support content marketing initiatives with SEO insights.
• Create and manage social media strategies that align with SEO objectives.
• Train and mentor junior SEO staff and interns.
• Evaluate and leverage SEO tools and software for better efficiency.
• Contribute ideas for improving website content and user experience.
• Participate in team meetings to provide SEO updates and insights.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of SEO experience, preferably in an agency setting
