Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct intake assessments for new clients.
  • Provide individual counseling and tailor interventions to client needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in practice.
  • Engage in collaborative care with clients to set achievable goals.
  • Guide clients through therapeutic processes and monitor their development.
  • Implement patient education on mental health issues.
  • Participate in the creation of community mental health initiatives.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the Clinical Director on client progress.
  • Engage in self-care practices to maintain personal wellbeing.
  • Develop resources and referrals to assist clients with additional needs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in mental health are a plus
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in counseling or mental health services
