Clinical Psychologist

Job Description

Are you passionate about helping people? We're looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for evaluating patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy sessions. The suitable candidate will be proactive in educating clients and families about mental health issues and available treatment options.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
• Implement cognitive-behavioral techniques in therapy.
• Prepare and present mental health workshops.
• Collaborate with community organizations to provide resources.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for patients.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a clinical setting

• Solution-Focused Therapy

Certifications

• Registered Clinical Psychologist with HPCSA

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Intermediate
