Public Health Specialist

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Public Health Specialist to make a difference in the Johannesburg area. Your responsibilities will include designing health programs, evaluating their impact, and collaborating with public health professionals and local organizations to address health challenges facing the community.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with local health authorities on public health initiatives.
• Conduct surveys to assess public health needs and program effectiveness.
• Facilitate focus groups to gather community feedback on health matters.
• Assist in the development of public health policy and advocacy.
• Train and supervise public health interns and volunteers.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health or Social Work is an asset

Experience

• 3-5 years in a relevant public health role
