Job Description

As a Police Aide, you will be instrumental in providing essential support to our police force. Your role will encompass clerical work, data management, and filing among other administrative tasks. Candidates must be detail-oriented and capable of working efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine administrative tasks including data entry and filing.
  • Assist field officers with paperwork and reports.
  • Support community outreach efforts by distributing information at events.
  • Answer phone inquiries and provide necessary information.
  • Coordinate with other departments for efficient communication.
  • Help maintain social media channels and website content.
  • Engage with community members to promote positive relations.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as directed by supervisors.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate
  • It is advantageous to hold an Administrative or Secretarial qualification.
Experience
  • No prior experience required; however, prior work in an administrative setting is beneficial.
