Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, adept at preparing financial statements, and conducting thorough analyses that support decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and compliance documents.
• Conduct variance analysis and assess financial performance.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial plans.
• Provide insights for financial decision-making and strategic planning.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.
• Respond to ad-hoc financial inquiries and support business operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CIMA/ACCA or equivalent certification

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in accounting roles, with a strong focus on audit and financial management.
