Job Description

As a Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of our logistics operations in Johannesburg. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of warehouse staff, optimizing inventory management processes, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You should be able to work collaboratively with various departments to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
• Supervise loading and unloading of goods to minimize damage.
• Optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and space utilization.
• Manage returns processing and inventory adjustment.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement training programs for new and existing employees.
• Manage procurement of packaging and shipping materials.
• Collaborate with IT to enhance warehouse management software.
• Monitor order fulfillment rates and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
• Relevant certifications in logistics or warehouse management are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or logistics
